IBPA announces BENJAMIN FRANKLIN AWARDS™ Winners
More than 250 gathered at the Marriot Marquis in New York just before BEA to celebrate the 164 finalists and winners of the 24th Annual Benjamin Franklin Awards™, chosen by 150 hard-working judges from almost 1,300 entries in 54 categories.
Top experts in the book industry from all over the U.S., including librarians, booksellers and design experts, judged each and every entry. In keeping with IBPA’s educational mission, all entrants receive a written critique with advice on how to improve their publications as well as kudos for the good work produced.
Honoring excellence in publishing annually since 1988, this year, the Benjamin Franklin Awards™ recognized publishers as large as American Academy of Pediatrics, gold winner in the Parenting and Family Issues category with their title My Child Is Sick: Expert Advice for Managing Common Illnesses and Injuries, and as small as Riviera Press, gold winner in the Self-Help category with Attitude Reconstruction: A Blueprint for Building a Better Life.
