FIVE MORE PUBLISHERS BEGIN DISTRIBUTION WITH IPG AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES

(CHICAGO, IL) Independent Publishers Group (IPG, www.ipgbook.com), the second-largest independent book distributor in the United States, is pleased to announce it has partnered with five more independent publishers for distribution. Bucket Fillers and Mosaic Press will be distributed by IPG, Amberley Press will be distributed through Trafalgar Square Publishing, Little Island Press will be distributed by IPG Academic and Professional Publishing and Pucci Publishing will be distributed by Art Stock Books.

As of June 1, 2016, IPG distributes Bucket Fillers (www.bucketfillers101.com), a Michigan based publisher that creates books and other resources on the practice of “bucket filling” for schools, families, workplaces and communities. Since its founding in 2006, Bucket Fillers has sold over two million copies of its books on bucket filling, and has received 113 awards.

Based in Ontario, Canada, Mosaic Press (www.mosaic-press.com) publishes books in four major categories: literature, the arts, social studies and international studies. They were founded in 1975 by Michael Walsh, and have published over 500 books since then. Mosaic Press begins distribution with IPG on January 1, 2017.

Trafalgar Square Publishing (TSP), the leading US distributor of UK and Australian publishers and a subsidiary of IPG, has signed Amberley Publishing (www.amberley-books.com) for distribution beginning January 1, 2017. Established in the UK in 2008, Amberley publishes books on a rich variety of history and heritage, including local history, general history, military history, transportation and industry books, and sports books.

IPG Academic and Professional Publishing adds Little Island Press (www.littleislandpress.co.uk) to its list. Little Island Press is a literary publisher in the UK that currently publishes three collectable poetry series—Budding New Poets, Memento and Transits—in aesthetically pleasing hardback books. Their distribution agreement with IPG Academic begins October 1, 2016.

Art Stock Books (ASB) will start distributing Pucci Publishing (www.photographyincostarica.com) on January 1, 2017. Pucci is Costa Rica’s premier publisher of wildlife and landscape photography books, founded by father and sons Juan Jose, Sergio and Giancarlo Pucci.

About IPG:

Established in 1971, IPG was the first organization specifically created for the purpose of marketing titles from independent presses to the book trade. With consistent growth year-over-year, IPG’s success has come from supporting and encouraging the growth of its client publishers in the United States and worldwide. IPG has a wide reach in the market through its distribution of publishers with academic, Spanish-language, computer and general trade nonfiction and fiction titles. IPG was acquired by Chicago Review Press in 1987. Clients include publishers from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Israel, Spain and other countries. In the fall of 2006, the senior management of Chicago Review Press, Inc., the parent company of IPG, bought Trafalgar Square Publishing, Inc., the leading US distributor of UK publishers. Trafalgar Square Publishing was founded in 1973 and distributes for clients such as Allen & Unwin, Atlantic Books UK, Bonnier Publishing, Canongate UK, HarperCollins UK, Pavilion, Penguin Random House UK, and Penguin Random House Australia.
