Boosting over 7,000 exhibitors and 275,000 visitors each year, the Frankfurt Book Fair is the largest global marketplace for books, media, rights, and licenses worldwide. 2015 marks IBPA’s 30th year at the Fair and we couldn’t be prouder. Many of our members have achieved great success through IBPA’s support of their participation in the Frankfurt Book Fair and can now boast Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Korean, German, Japanese, Dutch, Italian, and French versions of their titles.

IBPA is able to support your book(s) at the Frankfurt Book Fair in a few different ways. Most IBPA members purchase Single-Title Display in our Cooperative Booth ($185/title). In addition to onsite book display, those who sign up for Single-Title Display and meet the submission deadline are added to our onsite book catalog, which includes book title, ISBN, price, cover art, company name, and website. Larger companies can purchase Full-Shelf Display to accommodate 4-5 books along with catalogs or sell sheets ($700/shelf, including dedicated company signage).

There are many opportunities for exposure as part of IBPA’s Cooperative Booth. Prior to the Fair, we arrange meetings with 50-60 international rights buyers to whom we present the titles displayed in our Cooperative Booth. We collect contact information when interest in a certain title is expressed and share this information with the respective publishers directly.

DEDICATED BOOTH SPACE: For those with even larger collections (and staff who can travel to the fair), dedicated booth space can also be purchased through IBPA. Because IBPA has been attending the Frankfurt Book Fair for 30 years, dedicated booth space through us generally yields better placement on the exhibit floor. In addition, booth partners benefit from reduced international shipping fees, onsite wifi, unlimited drinks and snacks while on the show floor, and much more.
