Through IBPA’s Trade Show Exhibit Program, members can purchase the following at major domestic and international book trade shows:
— Single-title display within IBPA’s Cooperative Booth on the show floor
— Full-shelf display within IBPA’s Cooperative Booth on the show floor
— Discounted booth space (full or shared) within IBPA’s complex on the show floor
— Low cost author signings held on the show floor
— Low cost recorded interviews held on the show floor
Titles in IBPA’s Cooperative Booth are displayed face-out on the shelves and within a full-color catalog handed out at the show. In addition, because it’s always a good idea to attend the show at which your title is displayed, exhibitors within IBPA’s trade show complex are eligible for a discounted or free pass to attend the convention.

Over 10,000 librarians attend the American Library Association Annual Conference each year in order to save time and money by reviewing the books and services put on display by the hundreds of onsite vendors. The focus of IBPA’s participation in the ALA Annual Conference is to provide IBPA members with title visibility to acquisition librarians. Since IBPA has been attending the ALA Annual Conference for over 20 years, we have first pick of preferable space on the show floor. If you display with IBPA you won’t be stuck in the back corner of the exhibit lot: you’ll be up front and center where you belong!

BookExpo is the premier event for North American publishing. Traditionally, this show marks the launch of book publishers’ fall lists — generally the biggest and most robust book list of the year. For publishers, BookExpo’s primary function is to showcase these upcoming books in order to get them in front of those who want to buy and/or promote them: the thousands of booksellers who attend; libraries and school systems; foreign publishers; producers and other members of the media. BookCon serves as ReedPOP’s new consumer portion of the convention. It is tacked onto the final days of BEA and open to the public.

Boasting over 7,000 exhibitors and 275,000 visitors each year, the Frankfurt Book Fair is the largest global marketplace for books, media, rights, and licenses worldwide. 2017 marks IBPA’s 32nd year at the Fair and we couldn’t be prouder. Many of our members have achieved great success through IBPA’s support of their participation in the Frankfurt Book Fair and can now boast Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Korean, German, Japanese, Dutch, Italian, and French versions of their titles.
